Diagnostic software

Post by hiscot » Fri Mar 14, 2008 1:09 pm

read on another forum that this may be off help when downloaded
but I have no ideal electronics expert required ?
Robin ?

http://tunertools.com/proddetail.asp?pr ... SCAN%2DKEY

quote "its pretty cool actually on obd2
you can read and delete fault codes
tacho, speed
data log
carry out 0-60 etc
read all engine sensors/ monitor airflow/ ignition advance/ lambda sensors "
however the above quote was from somebody who has a slightly differant program
ps mems 3 only with a diagnostic port do s2s have a diagnostic port ?

Any good ??

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak

Bob,

I have a similar item called OBD+KEY.

The software in it does the same basic things. For me the valuable item is to read/clear the error codes and see the sensor scans which post the error.

It;s a PITA driving around with an MIL light on.

You get a choice of bluetooth or USB. I chose the bluetooth as it works on my phone and my laptop.

IIRC it was £100 delivered. Very useful piece of kit.

Take care,

Frank
