momo removable steering wheel , strange noise .

Might as well get all problems out , ths only strted happening yesterday . When turning the wheel its making a kinda plastic to plastic grinding noise...defo comming from the removable wheel hub bit. no further down.

dont expect much help with this one , maybe someone else has removable wheel with similar problems ?

Shroud rubbing? Perhaps needs some 'encouragement' to give clearance - mine does this (s1 shroud is less substantial though.)

Shroud?

plastic bit were shaft enters enclosure ? kinky. It does sound like it somthing silly , but kinda weird how it started happening all of a sudden like that .

The elise squeaks down near the pedals.......or did until I used GT85 on it!
Wouldn't say that it sounded up at the wheel though!

I suspected TADTS with the majority of my niggles.

these cars really no test your hearing awareness.

so many rattles,knocks,fizzes,bangs,klonks,grinds etc etc , I like them in a strange way .

Unfortunatly I picked my old man up from Airport yesterday And he is none to impressed with my "Bang Bang Bang" music

. So the stereo was off on this rare occasion. Changing gear with his suitcase/bag in the front was more of a concern at the time

Again mate, I have the Momo snap off as well and it was squeeking a bit when I first got it... DW40 round the top and not happened since
