corroded S1 headlight units - where can i get them

apart from the usual liz parts, where can you get the headlight units?
are they off another car? can you get them any cheaper? :?:

tried a search, but no joy

Do some searching on here, someone posted a model number for them, and picked them up at their local motorfactors (D&A in Dundee I think) for approx 60 quid for a pair I reckon

elise-faq (Fd?) says they are different from Renault 4 ones so I wouldnt risk that-

I need a new pair as well- has anyone succesfully fitted the cibie ones listed int he other thread?!

in the linked thread I wrote: I decided to buy new lamps anyway and will now fit them at a later date. Thanks to Haggis Catcher for the tip. I bought them form D & A Motor Factors (Dundee) Ltd for £24 + VAT each. Miles cheaper than anywhere I could find on t'internet. They are boxed and sold as Valeo (P.N. 460118) but when I took them out of the box they are branded as Cibie. They look identical to the one that are in at the moment.

local motorfactor should be able to get them :
Cibie CBC 460118
or Valeo 067689

be carefull, these could be the LHD version ( in my book), so ask for the RHD version of these.

My local place were 30 quid ea + vat- maybe i shoudl move to dundee, on 2nd thoughts :shock: :wink:
