It simply wasn't enough fun for me in the wet to be honest Tut. Many other circuits I really enjoy driving in the wet but Donington has some very fast corners and the grip levels were very unpredictable. Didn't fancy stuffing the car when I was just there for a bit of fun.
Call me a pussy if you like but haven't really got the time to repair it at the minute.
Fair play to you for going at it all day. I felt I got my money's worth in the morning so was more than happy to relax and socialise a little in the afternoon.

thanks for the replies folks.
im willing to chuck a set of mintex 1144's on seeing as theyre cheap. if theyre not that great il fling them.
will i get a set for all round or is it worth using different pads front and back? next time il try the pagids
how do peeps rate 'green stuff' they were all right for the first few hundred miles i had the car, then i dont know if theyre baked or if im just driving the car much harder than i was when i got it but theres not much feel from them.

Problem with me Dan is if I am there I have to be out on track, plus of course, making the most of it whilst I am still able to drive.
However in the wet it was frustrating with the lack of grip, though I never take into consideration binning it, as like me, it is expendable. I believe that I was even holding a blue S2 up, which of course is a ridiculous situation.
I was going to finish about 1600 when the rest of S_E were going back to the Hotel, but Paul asked me if I would take the last of the paying passengers out as there were few cars left on the circuit.
