S2 Front Splitter

Post by Ron » Sun Apr 13, 2008 3:12 pm

Just wondering if anyone has bought one of those S2 front splitters from Tigga on SELOC.

I think they look good but was after a second opinion and maybe a report from anyone that has one.

Cheers :)

Ron,

I looked at these when I had my 111S. It seems that this guy does not offer any delivery service - all orders being collected from him in Slough.

If you're going to pick one up, I'm happy to give you the cash and you can get one for me too if you like

May be worth thinking about the Motobuild ones on ebay atm?

Aye Derek,

I read that aswell. Extreme hassle  . I've got a mate with an S1 who lives nearby so i may well get him involved. I've sent an email to Tigga to see if there are any left. If i get a positive response i'll let you know. They are the cheapest option (£99) and have a good write up on SELOC. That Moto one looks ok aswell. Would be good to hear from someone who actually has one.

Ron :thumbsup

IIRC the boy Tigga has put the price up to £180 all in (could be wrong..) and only takes bulk orders at a time....

The ones on PH and ebay are not bad actually, a mate bought one, but its not very well finished and I think you can tell its cheap (IMHO) - arguement to that is its going to get stone chipped, scraped to hell, and prob broke a few times anyway!

All the ones I bought were from Eliseparts - more expensive but at least you know what your paying for.

Would look brill with the black :thumbsup

I had a look through his post on SELOC and they still seem to be £99 - good buy at that money, the one I had was more than nicely finished for that cash.

R.E. the collection thing, he gave me an address for collection and I used http://www.parcel2go.com to uplift, think it was £8.

That looks really good :thumbsup

He said something about him not offering to package it up for couriers anymore. But maybe there's a courier company that will pick it up, wrap it and send it :scratch

I saw a black one with it in town recently and it did kind of transform the front.

I bought one from an ebay seller in Italy. won it for £120 inc. postage. Bought it about 30 seconds before seeing the Motobuild advert. it was delivered last week the quality is ok.

I does need a bit of finishing work but i was always intending to have it sprayed. my only decision now is what colour - Mag Blue, same as the body or a really dark graphite grey metallic (think it would look better than pure black).
