S1 Boot Lid Hinge

Post by bazzam111 » Sun Apr 13, 2008 10:05 pm

Any idea where I can get a new hinge for the platic boot lid that covers the load area in my S1? :scratch
I did the temperature sensor for the Stack read out, what a pig of a job that was but at least I got my temperature gauge back, and it works :thumbsup

http://www.bell-colvill.co.uk might work better ;)

I have a feeling I don't have a hinge there, something tells me there might be a few cable ties there on mine...

Many thanks, will possibly go for the new hinge option from B&C. :thumbsup
Half considering a DIY job using a Mylar strip as a hinge. This is the stuff the R/C modellers use for hinges on model plane control surfaces, worth a try.
After all the Elise was once described as an Airfix kit :damnfunny
