I went over a big bump a couple of weeks ago, and since then the passenger side indicator has started popping out whenever it feels like it (scrtching the front clam to feck), but usually over 40mph. Now the little plastic clip at the bottom has broken and it doesn't stay put at all. It's currently held in place with cleverly positioned black gaffer tape so it doesn't quite make the thing look like a badly constructed kit-car.
I am considering putting a couple of dabs of silicone or something at the bottom to hold it in, but not too much that it makes it impossible to remove again.
Any suggestions?

Thats what I did, shouldn't be a problem taking it back out again.Bada Bing! wrote:I am considering putting a couple of dabs of silicone or something at the bottom to hold it in, but not too much that it makes it impossible to remove again.

I bought a bungie but the only thing I can see to clip around is a hose either for the aircon or the radiator. Think it'll be ok to loop around that? If not, then i'll be the silicone solution.

I went for the clear silicone option, as I just didn't fancy attaching the bungie around the cooling hose. I only put on 3 dabs so it's secure enough, but will be easy to remove if I need to change the bulb.
