Hi
I was looking at a previous thread on this forum about ipod connections.
I've got my aux cable and hooked it all up and it works fine but i was wondering what the best and neatest way to route the cable is? From the image above it looks like the cable is coming up through the side of the tray under the stereo unit. Is it possible to do without drilling a hole in the dashboard assembly? I'm assuming I need to take bits of the dash off to do this? Do you take off the plastic part of the dash around the stereo and/or the plastic piece around the passenger speaker?
Any advice before I start taking the dashboard apart would be much appreciated.
Cheers
G

On my S2 Exige I removed the drivers side speaker cover (4 torx screws) and routed it under the dash then up to the small tray bit on the right hand side of the steering column. Once you get that speaker cover off and your head into the footwell it should make sense. Watch out as the bits of aluminium that make up the dash are razor sharp.

Run cable in at the top and out at the bottom of the speaker panel.
