It also looks as if I will have to cut a bigger hole in the undertray to accomodate the two pipes that travel underneath (job for tommorow) as well as cut the adjustable exhaust bracket as it is rusted solid I will just drill out the bolts and replace the screws that way I can get my tailpipes sitting properly.

The lambda was a right PITA I couldn't split the connector so I had to cut the cable and the grey cable won't solder :x so crimps were in order. I will have to test it still works ok once I get a voltmeter on it.

Sounds ok and once everything is togrther I will see about getting a soundclip up :D
I ended up having to open up the hole and also trim the corner off one of the NACA ducts on my undertray. I found it had chafed quite well when I went to fit new gear linkage bushes  , thankfully the undertray is softer than the exhaust. Didn't take too long with a rotary file :thumbsup

First real chance I have had to take the car out for a wee blast today other than the daily commute to work and I have to say chalk and cheese I am scared again! Gone is the lack of torque at the bottom end the car pulls lovely all the way across the rev range until it bounces off the limiter. I am impressed.

I will have to re hang the back box though as it's not sitting properly and one of the tail pipes is touching the clam.

The noise is a little tinny to be honest but I have heard about this and re fitting the cat might solve this but I can live with tinny as in tunnels the noise is glorious. And when cold it sounds like an AK47 on the overrun :D

The quality of the piper exhaust is fine, I tarted up and smoothed off some of the welds inside at the cylinder head end and the join with the flexi was a little rough and yes it wasn't as shiny looking, although a little time spent with a polishing wheel on a bench grinder would sort that I didn't see the point.

Overall I am pleased
