Couple of questions (Picked car up today)

I wouldn't let anyone from Arnold Shark within a 100 metre radius of my car whilst holding a spanner. But pretty sh*t that they've given you the car in that state in the first place.

AA parts & labour and a visit to Ali ?

I had thought about that but I checked the terms of the AA thing... need to have been rescued from a breakdown before they honour the warranty (I don't fancy trying to make the radiator drop all coolant). You also need to be able to provide a receipt to show the last service, stamp in the book won't do..... so, in this instance I don't think AA is an option.

Ali is the name I've given them though... so you never know, it may end up over at his if they screw up.

Elise parts Ali-rad ordered last night... Arnolds have apparantly taken the clam off now and just waiting for the radiator to arrive. I tried to steer them to Ali/SLS, and they did call him... but unfortunately the Manager would not agree to stumping up the money required and so they are doing it in-house

I've had to buy the radiator up front due to "accounts issues" (ie, Eliseparts won't send the part until they are paid... Arnolds accounts dept won't pay until they have a part and are invoiced). Workshop Manager has advised that I will get a cheque back from them for the £155 that the standard radiator from Lotus was going to cost them... so all I'm really paying for is the difference in the upgraded part.

Not sure how quickly the part will arrive, but doubt it will be ready for the weekend...
