After drilling all the heads off before I just left the remaining stub in the hub - at least it aligns the disk (rotationally). After a bit of use the disks will remain nicely attached when you change wheels.

Yeah, you don't need the screw, it's just there to stop the disk rotating/falling off.
After drilling all the heads off before I just left the remaining stub in the hub - at least it aligns the disk (rotationally). After a bit of use the disks will remain nicely attached when you change wheels.
