nose badge off

Post by Scotty C » Wed Aug 13, 2008 4:59 pm

Has anyone removed the nose badge off there car.

Are the new ones just stuck on?

I have done this before but it was the old type that screwed in from the back.

Protect the surrounding paintwork then warm it with a hairdryer and use fishing gut or a cheese wire to so cut through the sikaflex that holds it on, then tar remover(so I've read) to clean off any remaining adhesive

Easy job - hairdryer and fishing wire needed.... Heat it up, gradually slide fishing wire under it pulling both sides back tight.

Done :thumbsup
