NLC: Ford Focus Discs and Pads.

Post by dlogan » Thu Oct 09, 2008 9:08 am

Bought a full set front and rear.

Changed discs and pads on various cars so am comfortable with that side of it, and got the windback tool for the rear calipers.

Anyone else done this before ona focus and know of any pitfalls or things to watch out for, as I see the pads on the front have big spring clip type set ups.

Cheers

Focus brakes as super easy to work on, I've done a few in the past...even fitted Focus ST170 front and rear brakes to a Mk 5 Fiesta for a laugh (wasn't so funny when I had to buy bigger wheels to fit over them) I managed without using a manual so you should manage no problem, if you are likely to have problems remembering where everything goes take loads of photos before you start, always helps me.
