Best place for Advans?

Post by puffin » Wed Nov 05, 2008 3:10 pm

As the title says, I'm after a pair of rear Advans for an S1. Where's best to get them from and also fitting in Glasgow?
My car? Oh, it's the little yellow thing over there.

I got the discount this time last year, full set for just over £400. I think most people on here then take them round the corner to CLCM to get them fitted / balanced. The advans are lotus specific so are mainly avaliable form the dealer.

I emailed MMC about the deal and they replied saying that Darren has left the company and they've never heard of any deal :?

I guess that leaves Eliseparts or B&C as the best way to get the tyres, but can anyone recommend a fitters in the west end of Glasgow that can be trusted to jack an S1 successfully?

the offer of discount to SE'ers was set up by Darren. i don't see any reason why it shouldn't continue know that Neil has replaced Darren. i'll talk to our parts on Monday and post up what they say. cheers.

It went further back than Darren - SE1 had a discount set up on tyres that Del arranged. It was either with Bill or JMjr, can't recalll which one to be honest. Graeme would know as it's only him & Bill left from the SE1 times.

hi guys, sorry about the delay in replying to the discount question,

discount still applies, can only use the discount on stock orders and a SE user name is required.
