Unable to open boot : lever cable loose

A new day......yesterday I needed 2 x new Yoko's for the front , Today my boot lever wont open my lid :(

It was in MMC 2 weeks ago for service and to fix the lever - we its not fixed!

Anyone advise if this is an easy enough job and could I do it myself?
