Alternative to MH Engineering?

Post by caleebra » Fri Mar 13, 2009 2:12 pm

Awright folks?

I'm always really crap at keeping up with these things, but I see that (some time ago!) Mark took up a full time job and put the car fettling on the back burner.

I had an ideal job for him as well, I am looking to get my suspension stripped down and re-assembled with new coilovers, bushes, ball joints, powder coated arms etc. He had a package price to do all that stuff... d'you reckon anyone else would be up for same?

I had thought about doing it myself but I know the car will just sit in the garage in bits forever if I do it, waiting for my mechanic uncle to come back from offshore!!

Yeah he finished a while back now. I don't know of anyone else in the area that does Geo's or the powder coating,
but it would be interesting to find out...

PPS in Inverurie do the powder coating, that's not a problem. I think they will also be required to fix the large hole in my front clam! But it's getting someone to do the fiddly bits :(

Yeah I'm sure Ricky will do it, he's back in Huntly now. The only other one I know of is JD Motors in Insch, top blokes. Not sure of anyone actually in ABZ.
