R888s on OEM S2 (k series) wheels?

Or maybe I should be going for AD07s? The only thing that's putting me off is I'd have to get the car 16 miles to Sincs from the airfield, and as the tyres are right on the limit now they will be in some state after 2 days of walshy...

I cannot see why anyone would pick T1R's over the yokos.....but that is only ny opinion....plenty of people on here do exactly that.

I would rave about how good T1r's are... until I drove the car on a new set back to back with 888's.. They are shocking in the highest order.

P.S. if anyone wants a set of part worn T1r's for an S1.. give me a shout.

The sizing chart for the A048 says you can fit the Yoko's on the std S2 front rims, in a 195/50 R16. Dont know about the toyo sizing chart for the 888 though

LTS spec have it printed on the side wall that they are not to be fitted to standard size rims

But yoko recon the M and MH compounds are ok on the 5.5 rim

Yeah I know but then I'd have the logistical issue of getting the other set of wheels home from Sincs!

I can sort that out for you - I'll be collecting a couple of engines from down there in the near future - 4 more wheels won't matter much
