Exige S servicing and Spark Plug change interval

Hi,

Had my car in for a B Service today at MMC. Happy with the service given, only had car booked in for the service and just realised last night that my first MOT would be due beggining next month and MMC got the MOT done today as well with me only asking if it was possible when handing over the keys.

Only question I do have however is about the changing of the spark plugs,I thought this was done at each service on the Exige S along with the Hydraulic Fluid?
Sure I read in an evo guide to the exige that this was the case, and the previous services that were done prior to me buying the car at each service these were changed.

Yup, plugs should be changed at each service on all supercharged models according to the maintenance schedule.

p.s. When you say 'B' service do you mean 27k (or 3 year) service as there is no such thing as A,B and C services on Toyota engined cars.

Yeah was pretty sure they were meant to be changed, queried it at end when paying. Yeah was in for the 27k/ 3 year service today. Car should be going back up to MMC soon for some warranty work so shall see about getting this done.

Maybe this is how MMC are keeping their prices so competitive.

hi guys. to confirm about the spark plug question....... had a look at all our service sheets ( old ones and revised ones ) and only the exige s cup 240bhp has spark plugs changed every service! to confirm what i was reading i phoned lotus technical and they confirmed this. the interval on spark plug replacement on elise sc and exige s 220's is every 54k or 6 years. hope that puts a few minds at ease.
