I'm in the market for a trolley jack for general automotive use and would appreciate any recommendations

Brand names, retailers, etc.. any info welcomed :)

Good old Halfords do a couple with a 2 tonne version for only £29.99 :)

Costco jack. Iirc Dan uses one too

Machine Mart do a low height one, perfect for getting under an elise.

MAchine mart jack low height one!! brilliant

I have been looking at them too... to replace my under performing 2 tonne halfrauds jack. The Costco one looks good IMHO

I have the low level one from Machine Mart and its great. Gets under my Seven no problems

Bought one of these in Costco the other day:

Cost £50 (give or take a few pence).

Decent low jack, with a long reach, and good high lift. Very sturdy. Ideal for keeping in the garage, not so ideal for taking to events, as it is quite heavy!

After missing out on the B&Q half price thing, I ended up just getting one at full price from there. Wheel your old dear along for an extra discount on OAP day. :)
