tyres

Post by twisted2fit » Sat Sep 19, 2009 2:48 am

Hi All

I bought an Exige s2 n/a from a lotus dealer...he delivered the car with Yoko 48s on the front and Yoko Advan Sport on the back. He has agreed to pay 260 pounds towards the cost of replacement tyres or allow me to retuen the car to him. I am keen on keeping the car so was wondering what my tyre options were. I cant seem to find Advan Sport tyres that meet the specs for the Exige fronts. Any ideas?? The other option is to go for 48s at the back which means id have to pay the difference and also with the weather up here dunno how much running id be able to with them throughout the year. Its a third car so possibly could garage it during winters.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Try Camskill for tyres, best option I would think would be to fit 048's on the rear as they aint that bad when its wet.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

For 260 you can get a set of Khumo Ecsta or Pirelli PZero Nero for that car - I would do that, sell or skip the other rear tyres and keep the A048 until you decide you want to fit R-tyres.

Cheers,
