Exige hardtop bolts..

Post by The Hoff » Wed Nov 25, 2009 7:31 pm

Hi,

Not an everyday question...

Soon after I bought my Exige nearly 3 yrs ago, I went and bought a softtop conversion.. Since then the hardtop has been on and off many times and I (stupidly..) never bothered using the correct key to loosen and tighten the hardtop, hence the bolt heads are now badly worn..
I was wondering if replacement bolts are available for the hard top. The hardtop itself is perfectly fine. I asked my dealer (Hexham Horseless Carriages) a while ago and they didn't have an answer for me at the time..

Has anybody got any thoughts on this?

cheers,

Cowan

Hi Cowan, Hendeg(Gary) on here is Grampian Fastners and can almost certainly replace anything for you.

You could either give him the size or send him a bolt. AliC or Craig will also probably be able to help out.

These are what you're after - pretty specialised as the shank is reduced diameter.

If they are out of stock, I have a set bolts( well a whole roof) you can have until the replacments come in.

Let me know.
