Biggest benefit is for anyone who has a plastic 48mm TB, as they are prone to the butterfly sticking.
I put a 52mm TB on my last Elise... and also on an old Rover 200 BRM... I think it made it rev a bit quicker, but not sure about any bhp benefits to talk about.

For some reason my car came with a 60 mm throttle body that is sticking so this is a perfect replacement! :thumbsup

218vvc - if you come up with any other K series parts at favourable prices, come back over here, on the whole most Lotus owners are cheapskates that love a bargain (ok, I am ;))
