Instrument stack problem

Post by fudnie » Sun Mar 14, 2010 7:20 pm

Hi all, My stack seems to be acting up, speedo, rev and LCD all not working but the warning lights are. Could this be a fuse away, where would it be?

any advice would be appreciated

cheers, Craig

Try a stack reset:
- Turn off the ignition
- Open the drivers door
- Press and hold the trip-meter reset button
- Whilst still holding the reset button turn the key in the ignition to the second position (just before the engine turns)

Try fuse 8 in the fuse box under the front access panel. The manual says its "battery services" but I've got a feeling it might be for the stack

Did you solve this problem?

My stack decided to stop working this morning. I've lost all illumination, rev counter stuck at about 1.1k RPM, speedo at 5 or 6 mph and no temperature or fuel gauge.

Will try the reset / check fuse 8 when I get the chance.

Am meant to be driving down to London on Wednesday!

Just popped out and got wet. Problem solved here - fuse 8. That's 2 fuses in a week now, will have to stock up on spares!
