Cam ladder sealant?

Gents,

Anyone know if there is an alternative to the cam ladder sealant? Is it anything special or just non-setting instant gasket stuff? If it is I'll get some from work....

I use a one from the Vauxhall dealers. I'll dig the part number out. Its just over 6 quid a tube.

Was going to try Landrover in Cupar or Arnold Clarke in Scummers, Vaxhall sheds is over the road from Landrover too.

BTW The old bloke in AC in Scummers is very good at finding odd parts of K from crap descriptions
