Manufacturer Warranties

Post by craig1983 » Fri Jun 04, 2010 6:53 am

I know that manufacturer warranties generally exclude wear items, but does anyone know if things like Track Rod Arms and Ends, or Wishbone Bushes are considered as wear items??

Cheers,
Craig.

Is it in the original warranty period, or is this an extended warranty of some sort?

I would say that you would have a reasonable claim against the original warranty if these items needed replacing within the first year or two. I would say that for an extended warranty, you've got less chance, especially the track rod ends.

No joy with AA P&L either for wear but covered if they break.
