Linnished cam cover

Post by Victor Meldrew » Wed Aug 02, 2006 8:45 am

Can someone tell me if the cam cover is like the old style traditional covers of old, i.e. is it easy enough to remove with out upsetting cam clearances or stuff like that.

My one is looking scabby, I was going to "have it off" and clean up and polish the lin bits.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Yes it's just a cover, but the gasket covers the whole of the top of the cam ladder, might be worth replacing it while you are there. The only thing you will have to disconnect IIRC is the breather hoses.
