Which brake pads?

Made a shed load of difference on mine, but I did suspet the brake fluid was 4 years old....

I would think it will make some difference on an older car where the pipes have perished.

Agree with Ali and Neil, 42's or 14's if you're heavy on the brakes (but somehow I don't get the impression you are, if so far you like the EBC's).

An alternative to the 14's is Performance Friction's type 97 compound.
Slightly more expensive than the Pagids 14's, same excellent feel but they have no rivets (or big holes) so should last longer.

SBS's get my vote for performance and price . I have not tried any Pagids ones but they are so much better than the OEM ones . On track for my ability they are very good ,consistent and the tyres have always been the limiting factor . On the road they are superb after you have done the first press when they feel like the wooden OEM for a second. They also appear to be wearing well disc and pads.

I will try 42's next if finances allow just to see what all the fuss is about
