For the rear window, remove the roll hoop cover (as if you were going to put on the hard top) and lift out the rear window.

There should be a rubberish seal alround the inside edge. On mine this has come loose in a couple of places. Get some glue and glue the rubber into place, then put the window back in and make sure the rubber is correctly seated all round.

The roll hoop cover can also squeak a wee bit. Once it is locked down, just move it from side to side a wee bit to settle it. Hopefully this will work well enough to let you hear the other squeaks and rattles :D

Some silicon spray on the catches that hold the roll bar cover on wont do any harm. Mine were squeeking, took me weeks (of oiling just about every other part of the car) to find out it was coming from those.

Yes, true - but I thought my timing would be mildly comical after you watching be surf up the M77, followed by the spontaneous deflation at our destination... :wink:

I guess some higher power was giving me a slap for being smug... :lol:
