Fuel Cap Required. Any ideas?

Post by Dundeesfinest » Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:45 am

Just a quickie. The barrell Fell out my fuel cap the other night and some parts broke off when it hit the ground. Ive fiddled around but the cap simply will not lock any more. Luckily I can jam it in place and open with a screwdriver until I can find a replacement. Any ideas where I can pick one up at a decent price?

Any suggestions appreciated as always.

Cheers

The VX220 one fits I believe a VX dealer called AstonVauxhall (pm him on vx220.org) is selling them for -

Two bits VXR specific by the looks of it;

93184415 - £57+VAT (Retail £69+VAT) Cap
93184417 - £105+VAT (Retail £132+VAT) Bit that connects to the fuel filler pipe

That is for the black version, I am sure the silver will be the same price.

The one above is the cap without the key barrel

This one is the key barrel on its own.

Hope that helps.
