Quick shift

Post by TSF » Sat Aug 19, 2006 10:06 am

Hi lads,

I have resently fitted a quick shift to the car but find it very dificult to get 5th and reverse :(

I still have the original standard bushes at the gearbox but had a close look at them and dont seem to see any sloppy movement :?

Cheers

There is a cross gate stop as well as the linkage length at the box end. Play with them....

Cheers Rich,

I will have a check of this to see if that makes things a bit better, failing that may have to invest in uprated gear linlage :( more ££££££

If that does not please me the quick shift will be for the chop  I must admit my gear shift did feel ok to me before I started messing with it.
