noise meter

Post by neilj37 » Tue Sep 06, 2011 12:05 pm

Picking up an old mx5 tomorrow which I plan to use for track days and improve my driving but not sure if exhaust is acceptable. Anyone local to aberdeen got a noise meter they could check it with.

Find someone with an IPhone and you can get the app free or for £0.99p ~the ones I have on mine are acurate when checked against a hand held sound meter(although that is 20+years old) it should give you a good enough idea unless your doing some of the circuits down south where they are a bit stricter than KH

I assume that means you have one mike. Will arrange to pop over and see you in the coming week if that's okay? Or you can drop over mine in Kintore?
