S1 Elise 111S
Performance, I think you're better off sticking with what you have. Course there's always the stock reply to anyone wanting to go faster.... driver training.
The '72 does look the dogs tho!! http://www.elises.co.uk/models/s2/72/index.html

S1 50th Ann.
72 has a standard 118bhp engine, so it will be slower than your S1 111S
I test drove one before I bought my S1, and found it heavy and lacking in feel compared to the S1, which is why I bought the wee black beastie
You'll also always have to pay that wee bit more for the 72 as its a Limited Edition Special and all that. Its a gorgeous looking car, don't get me wrong, but for me it was all mouth and no trousers. The lovely tan alcantara will get scabby as it gets older too

I know the S1 'type' special editions were available in standard and 111s flavours - did that carry over to the S2?GregR wrote:72 has a standard 118bhp engine, so it will be slower than your S1 111S
