evora - already doing my box in

Post by ninja » Tue Feb 11, 2014 10:20 pm

picked up my ex andrew c burnt orange evora today and aaahhhhhhhhhhh wtf

the alpine stereo keeps flipping between radio and satnav, so for 2 minutes radio, then the screen goes black, then satnav options menu for 10 seconds. wtf, all the way home again and again and again and again!!

ideas anyone? the user guide is totally feckin useless and seems to completely ignore half the functions on the head unit. for example "imprint" there's a button saying imprint and an option in the menu saying imprint but not a single mention of hte word "imprint" in the user guide at all.

does anyone have a link to a useful owners guide?

Switch it off and drive the thing.
Worry about the head unit when you're bored of driving it, it's a crap head unit anyway.

BTW. If you eject the Blackbird unit it'll stop the sat nav from kicking in
No idea why it's doing that but i leave the Blackbird in the house most of the time.

Press the 'open' button on the bottom right of the unit.
Then you'll have to option of ejecting nav or disc, eject nav. I think there's a little button you need to slide to the right or left to allow it to come out.

Never mind the ICE, how do you (and the mrs) like the car?
