V6 Rolling Road Results
V6 Rolling Road Results
Have any of the V6 owners had their car on a rolling road? (Ideally Performance HQ in Dalgety Bay)
Re: V6 Rolling Road Results
Brian, obviously can't add to the v6 results, but Dom is organising a powerrun morning at EcoTune on the 2nd of May

Re: V6 Rolling Road Results
Cheers Les. I'd be keen to see the results of my own on those rollers too.
Re: V6 Rolling Road Results
Yes. Apologies, I should have been more specific. Although a single RR result from any V6 owner would've been niceflyingscot68 wrote:I take it you mean V6 Exige?

Re: V6 Rolling Road Results
I got 310.8bhp on the Econotune dyno in my N/A Evora.
There's a day there organised by Dominic in another thread here. Hopefully an Exige will turn up.

Is that at the wheels?
I'll have a look at the thread and I'll be doing my best to bring my V6 Exige to the rolling road session.

No that was the calculated figure at the flywheel.
At the wheels would be less.
It had a Radium Cold Air Induction Kit, De-cat by 2bular and the Lotus Sports back box, sounded ace

I can imagine! Ear defenders required no doubt!
I have to admit I like the way the V6 sounds on full beans but i'm a bit annoyed that my old S2 S is making almost the same amount of power.

Re: V6 Rolling Road Results
I saw your dyno plot on SELOC Brian. It looks like there is something wrong above 6,000 rpm? Yours tails of from just below 6K but it should continue to rise and make peak power at 7K rpm.
The power and torque curves look ok up until that point with peak torque looking ok.

Hi Ali,
Yeah, Hopefully the other rolling road session will shed more light on the problem (if any). Maybe they fitted a TDI engine in mine.

Be wary of comparing anything with something done on tdi's hub dynos, they seem optimistic to the tune of 15/20%
Mine made 265atw as well btw, but that was 309 atf
