Is this a part from an Elise?

Post by TAMBO » Mon Jun 22, 2015 6:59 pm

Hi Guys,

I was out a drive the other day and this seemed to fall front the front of my car rattling the floor, I only seen it bounce along in my rear view mirror.

I went back to investigate.

this is it.

It might have been something already on the road but i just need to check in case something has let go.

At a guess an exhaust hangar? Possibly not off your car though????

Edit to add : just noticed from the front of your car so not yours or if it is not an exhaust hangar :?

What you have there is a leaf spring retainer bush.

Something like this

Fookin sad......but I just recently examined my quad bike trailer and it has similar shaped bush.

Probably off a farm/horse trailer..........or a Morgan!!

Fitting leaf springs to the front of your Elise is definitely a hardcore mod! :thumbsup
