My car is running AD08 rear and AD07 front, when I questioned this I was told it was because AD08 are not available in 175/55/16 so I did a quick search for 195/50/16 as an upgrade with a view to having the same all round but couldn't find a stockist. Seems a tricky size AD048 and Toyo 888R are available
Your right. But your car is also on the skinny standard fronts. The 135R uses the wider OZ wheels which allow up to 2015 section to be used.

Hi,

I have only used T1R's the once and didn't much like them - I can imagine worn T1Rs could be a bit floaty as mentioned by others earlier. If you put the car on a flat surface (just normal tarmac or drive way is fine), put your foot hard on the brakes, wind the steering from one lock to the other slowly - if there's a worn point in the rack, you'll most likely find it like that.

Other problems I have had (forgotten earlier, sorry) are the wishbone bushes - if they are worn - then the wishbones will float in and out as you change the loading side to side, which can be unnerving ...

Cheers,
Robin

I ran T1Rs for a long time. Until Robin changed them ;-) I liked them a lot. Great vfm. Anyway each to their own and I hope you trace the issue soon.

After the outing last autumn where I lost confidence in the front of the car because it felt loose and vague, I found that my T1Rs were worn quite heavily on the inside. This was enough to make it feel like the car was trying to kill me.

So getting old tyres replaced is a must. Beyond that worth noting the geo on tech wiki and getting your car checked. I found that sometimes completely zero'd tracking at the front can exacerbate this feeling.
