Creaky clutch pedal
I had exactly the same prob... but you can't just keep lubricating it apparently, the OE bush is wearing the aluminium pedal. Feel the black grease and you'll notice that despite the bush being made of plastic the grease feels metallic! It's just a really bad design. So better replacing the bush! There was a guy making copper(?) clutch bush kits for about £16, myself and everyone who's ever fitted it thought it was the best £16 quid they have ever spent on the car! It does involve a prolonged period in the Lotus position but is well worth it!
Can't remember exactly where I got the kit right now but Gareth had one so maybe he can chip in? - email me if you can't find what I'm on about an I'll have a search sdunbar@ea.com
Some instructions to help fitting...

I suspect it's the grease that accelerating the wear, There should be no lube at all in a plastic to aluminium joint. Add grease, add sharp grit from the floor aand that will produce a rubbing compound to wear the softer part, hence the need for a dry graphite application that does not allow the grit to stick in the joint.
Once the wear is excessive then it will definitely need a brass or bronze bushing.
