Aye but it'll fit on the passenger side of the aluminium cabin dividing bar thingy. I've got long monkey-arms, I'll be able to reach it fine (I think)...

I bought a couple of those Ebay foldout cup holders for my T5, my daughter broke one the first time she used it...

What he said. Even the flat ally surfaces won't take a vacuum sucker as the anodisation leaves a slightly rough surface meaning a sucker won't seal to it and the plastics all have textured paint meaning the same...

So I looked a bit more as couldn't be bothered waiting for import. Found this one. Same design but stainless steel so more durable.

Only drawback I see is 4 screw fitting so would need to drill a central hole in the holder to fit in the proposed bit of the Elise.

That looks more in keeping with the elise. I would try some VHB (Very High Bond) tape instead of drilling and screwing. :thumbsup

Yeah I am only thinking of drilling the holder, not my new toy!

Other option would be Sugru, easily removed aswell.
