Paint Ali ends.

Post by Callummarshall » Wed Mar 23, 2016 10:34 pm

Hi all,

I've have finished a heater matrix refresh and before I put the front end back together i was sure I saw something somewhere about coating the drilled drain holes with some form of special paint po15 or something? Does this have to be something specific or will hamerite or simmilar do?

Thanks
Callum

Think you mean POR15 - rust preventative paint I've never used it but I guess from the description that it's a Hammerite type product.

It's epoxy based paint. Very very messy but quite robust. Definitely not as easy as a quick lick of hamerite. But not sure you need to bother. EDIT worth it if its rust'able metal.
