Cleaner brake pads.
I’m currently using CL5+ brake pads, they’re great on track but I’m getting a bit fed up with the mess they create on the wheels. Today I did only 50 miles and my new gold wheels were black when I got home. I’m looking for a less messy pad I can use for road work and I can go back to CL5’s for track.
Any recommendations for less messy pads ?

I've not tried them but Ferodo DS2500 are supposedly good on the road (consistent, cold feel etc) and one of the least for dust?
I heard Mintex 1144 were 'dusty AF'.

I put a set of CL5+ on my car last summer. Didn't notice too much brake dust (maybe I need to try harder), however;
I did a wet trackday at KH in September, then some local trips. I am booked on for KH this weekend, so as the weather has brightened up I thought I would use the car a bit to make sure all is well after the winter. Front pads were rattling, so ordered some anti rattle pads. When I went to fit them I found that the braking material was quite badly cracked. I emailed eliseparts who have been very quick to respond and helpful. However, CL have come back and said that the pads have corroded due to the car being put away wet. I am not entirely sure I buy into that explanation. I always give my car a few runs up and down my lane with some firm brake applications to dry them before going into the garage. Has anyone ever experienced this issue?

Afraid I’ve had total separation in the past where the brake pad material had parted from the backing plate. But I put it down to the pads sticking to the discs several times where it took quite a bit of force to break free. I used 5+ for years on the S1 Elise and S1 Exige. Loved them but yes, you shouldn't put them away wet. And after track you would get a lot of metallic dust as they chewed the admittedly cheap disks up. If you didn't clean it off it was nasty stuff if it then rusted.
I had tried Pagids before but they really don't like pad transfer from other materials.
I've got Pagid RS42 on the 160 as I was doing the disks too and k have to say they are pretty good. Not as agressive as the 5+ so they are a bit of a compromise but the dust is more traditional and easy to manage. Similar to the dust levels from the DS2500 on the V6. So there's a lot of it, but it wipes off.

Wow, I have yet to do down the pads wormhole. My paltry knowledge thus far is that my last set were green current are blue and squeak like crazy on road.

Yeah, I doubt running up and down the drive a couple of times, even with your braking, would do much but smear the water about. On my bikes, after washing, it's out with the airline to blast the water out of the calipers and it still doesn't 100% work and the sintered pad will stick to the discs. I have exact same problem on the M2. Unless I take it out and brake heavy a few times to dry off the disc the pads weld themselves to the disc and get brake judder for days after till it clears the pick up.

I'm trying EBC Yellow on my Z4si and A35 to see what they're like. They've been on the z4 for a wee trip up NC500 but they weren't used in anger, seemed to stop well in all conditions inc a wee emergency stop. The wheels are mucky but it has done over 900 miles since it was cleaned and the AMG ones won't arrive here for a few days yet as just ordered today, but standard AMG pads have the wheels minging withing 20 miles of a wash hence the change, very limited choice saw me go for yellow stuff again. Will feed back once fitted and I've used them in anger.

I too have used mostly Pagid 42 over the years; I tried various other flavours but the 42 were always the best compromise for the Elise.
Of course I don't wash cars, so I have no idea about how much brake dust they create.
I definitely used the Mintex 1144 at some point and I think they were also OK. Brake pad rattle and squeal seems to be fairly common for all of these pads. The more track focused they are, the more they squeal it seems - I never really invested any time in working out how to calm that down, but it definitely is a bit tiresome when you do any amount of road driving.
