Carplay in S2 ?

Hello everyone,

Has anyone ever installed a Carplay in an Elise S2 ?
If you have a link to buy the right model for my rig, it could be a great improvement of the car for our Roadtrip.

Below is the CarPlay installation in our 2004 S2 RHD:

To remove the center console, you need a very short screwdriver to access the screw on the steering wheel side:

At the top, it's held in place by only two pins:

Then you can easily remove the two air vents.
I made a template to cut two aluminum sheets, one inner and one outer, which allows you to sandwich the console with self-drilling screws.


The outer side is covered in black plastic.



We are back from a 6000 Km (3700 miles) RoadTrip in south Spain and it was a great help for navigation.
