I'll stick with PIC for now, the programer adn accessories was only £30 and for what I'm up to I don't need anything fancy!

For <30 you could have had a pre-assembled ARM7 MCU board that is self programmed through a USB port (i.e. no programmer required!).

Still, I respect your decision to use 70s technology :-)

70 Tech is fine for now as that is about the level my brain is capable of...

Rich do you plan on programming in assembly, c or using flowcode. If you like I can give u a shot of a development board and probably have tuts on all these types of programming. Let me know if you need anything.

I should have the kit tomorrow, I have no idea what software it will come with and I don't really have a clue anyway. It's just a bit of enetertainment while waiting for responses to job applications!
