Suspension Question

Post by VXJON » Sat Dec 09, 2006 8:20 pm

Can anyone tell me if the 111r blistein suspension is the same as the exige setup?

I know i have a Vx but i am looking for a quick fix for the crashy ride and the exige setup is a straight swap

Dont think so, as Andy G swapped his 111r setup for exige setup if I remember right.

But they are interchangeable so they will fit. Probably a bit less "crashy" than the Exige stuff and cheaper.

I noticed quite a difference between my car and Ed's Exige when he gave me a shot (thanks!). I'd love my car to handle like that. What do I need to do to get that? Can it be done just with geo set-up or do I need completely different suspension?

Sorry for hijacking post Jon, but it's kinda related

Suspension, tyres, geo and it'll be very similar though not quite the same cos ed's car will be even heavier than yours :P

K series S2 suspension tends to go 2nd hand for £250-300 so I wouldn't pay any more than that for 'yota stuff and it'll be harder for them to shift because it doesn't fit the S1, whereas S1 drivers (with original Konis) will bite your hand off if you offer to sell them S2 K series suspension

Don't really know about the wheels but Exige ones go for around £800 so a little less than that, £500 maybe :?:

Maybe worth trying this:

Never used it myself but have heard of quite a few people using it.
