you can get a coolent bottle and warning from rover or a conversion ftom b&gammons
but this is the cheapest and most simple

Hmm, not convinced. What level does it go off at? I mean do any 2 lizzys sit at the same level? Mine changes week by week, sometimes down a bit, sometimes up. didn't the MGTF have this as standard?

Low coolant level is never the problem, usually by the time it's gone down it means you already have HGF.

That's made for grannies that never check their levels, but I'm sure we all do, as tyre pressures, oil level, etc. ;)
