Wanted, temp sender socket

Post by Rich H » Wed Jan 24, 2007 3:07 pm

Hi all,
I'm (probably You know me!) going to fit the oil/water temp sender gubbins I posted about earlier. Does anyone know where I can get another temp sender socket? Are they standard or are there any unused ones on the loom?

Daresay I can hack one off one of my many looms, should you be stuck. Assume it's a standard fitment, I've seen it about in a few things.

I'll go scrap yard diving then. Or I might just bodge it and use a spade connector squashed in pliers....

There should be a spare one on the loom tie wrapped up somewhere in the vicinity of the crank shaft pulley ... i.e. ready to fit to an oil temp sender, that being what it's there for :-)
