Great work Rich!!

I've been looking into C/R stuff of late, and if you need a service, or a taller 5th, go to gearboxman.co.uk - consensus is don't try to open it up, or you will either loose an eye (or a cog) when parts sproing out everywhere!

I guess Phoenix did the install engine in?

Yes, engine undisturbed (Just rocked about a bit!) My plan is to split the old box and have a look with a view to either rebuild with different ratios as hiscot suggested or, more likely, turn it into a training aid for the Air Cadets who I'm going to start teaching about manky rover engines and little plastic cars as I have so many spare bits lying about!

Might even look at sectioning it so you can rotate the internals and see what is going on, but I think the fun police (AKA Heath and safety!) may put the kibosh on that.
