Rich,
If you are making up heater light kits I'll take one. Just let me know how much. Where did you take the power from?

I was thinking a while back about getting one of these shift light things with the 5 lights on it and taking it apart and trying to mount it round the top of the speedo binnacle cover. But i'd need to get these flush mount leds fitted and spaced out well for it to look like a factory finish. The wee control unit could be mounted behind the dash. Just dont want to buy one, find out it doesn't agree with being taken apart, make an arse of drilling the dash and be left standing with a load of wires and plastic thinking "why the fcuk did i start this". The ideas there though. And i like the wee shift light on the S2, nice touch.

There is one made for bikes I think I saw it on one around here, it's a little control box and a flexible rubber housing that can be bent to shape around things. Picks up from the tacho feed and does its own magic with it, can be customised to give different redlines etc.

As for kits, I'll do them for sure, I'm just about to go have a look in the dark and take a piccie, see if it comes out, but I have to go back to w*rk so I'll post later if it works. Parts would be about 50p or so and I'll even wire them up (I'll work it all out) Power came from the fog lamp switch, I just stuffed them in a couple of the spade connectors in the switch not very elegant but it works! All the wiring is hidden, though I had to file a little of the dash for clearance but you could route the wires round the back. If it works ok I'll take it all to bits and do some instructions.

They come on with the main beam not the side lights, but I'm sure its just a matter of finding the right place (Radio has a "lights-on" feed I'm sure)

Will keep you all informed of progress!

Well, the results arn't quite what I hoped, the LEDs are totally the wrong colour, far too orange. But the overall effect is quite good, my camera doesn't like it though.

I'm going to try some yellow LEDs instead and drop the voltage to make 'em orangey. Watch this space.....

Sorry Derek, your right, I'm going to dump the lighting and buy some Nitrous!

That'll be trick! Big spoiler to maximse downforce then a huge turbo!

Got some more bits on order, I'll have them in a week or so as I'm off next week.

Bits are in packs of 50 (For £1.20 FFS) so I'll have loads of bits left over to make up some more sets for you lot (Not Derek though :P )

The next inght you are bored you could think about an underdash shelf like the one on the S2, Just to keel my oakleys out of the puddles if you know what I mean.
