Can anyone advise on the dimensions of the seats in an S1 please - have had an offer of non OE new replacements.

Oh...and when the battery dies cause of non use  can it be brough back to life on a weeks trickle charge? got it wired up at home and gonna take the plugs out tonight to clean etc.....just worried its emptied itself to death.

Don't know about the seats. If you keep trying hard with a battery charger you might be able to make the battery wake up. You need to switch the charger on and off from time to time, though because it will give up trying after a while and it will stay that way until you reset it.

If you are brave you can probably force the issue with a well charged car battery and some jump leads - but I take no responsibility for damage to you, your jump leads, your batteries or any small animals in the vicinity ;-)

Very hard to find seats to fit the elise unless they're designed for it.
Don't know the dimensions, but when i was looking to replace mine, there's really no standard aftermarket seats that'll fit two side by side except for the corbeau LE that you seem to only be able to get through hangar111.
That's probably not what you're asking though.
sorry

Have a look on ebay for S2 seats or anyone breaking S2s. They're much comfier than the S1 seats if that's what you're after.

new seats

Post by Chewitt13 » Mon Apr 09, 2007 10:49 am

I've got a couple of black cloth seats which came out of my S2. Was going to ebay them in a couple of days. Not sure what they would be worth. I was hoping to get about 100 quid for both. They are in good condition (no holes etc), they don't have lumber support, they would have to be picked up from aberdeen. let me know and i'll e-mail pictures
