I'll swap you a servicable standard head for your broken PTP one if you like, I'll even throw in a spare set of std cams, std pulley and a placcy inlet manifold if you want!

It's quite simple when you confuse piston/valve contact for compression and just muller the engine over with a 3 foot bar
Anyway - putting the standard head on means only one thing - less place for folk to hid when Mandy passes them on the track next Friday

How bad is it? Salvageable? At least it wasn't running at the time.
My crank bolt was tightened against the valves on number 4 but I seem to have got away with it for the moment (That was 5k miles ago!)

Doesn't look too bad - would appear to have bent just as the stem starts to widen.
Plan is to run standard for a bit until we've got the spare cash for an emerald and then send it down to DVA and bring it from stage2 to stage3 spec.

There wasn't even a witness mark on the piston crown - it's bent enough to notice that it doesn't close fully - should come out fine at the valve still opens when the cam is rotated - it's just doesn't close fully.
