Tyre advice for S2 Exige

Post by ExigeKen » Mon Jun 04, 2007 7:03 pm

I had hoped to get A039s on my S2 Exige as I am not going to spend lots of time if any on tracking my car and I find the A048s difficult in the wet. WheelsAround are having problems getting A039s and I need four new tyres urgently.

Does anyone have any guidance as to what would be a good all round tyre for my S2 Exige please?

Thanks,

Ken.

I've been impressed with the Toyo 888s so far, seem to have a surprising amount of grip in the wet. Apparently there are severe shortages at the moment though :(

T1-Rs? I would guess the R888 will be as difficult in the wet like the A048s.

I would get 48's and get your Geo checked.

Run 22F 24R

Wouldn't look past them for an Exige - if you want them to last longer get the harder compound, not LTS.

A039s sound good to me as not going to track. I emailed wheelsaround a while back for a quote but never heard anything. Was going to wait until end of summer anyway ... hope they are back stock by then.

If you get A039s or R888s fitted i would be interesed in how you get on with them and how much you paid.

Thanks for any info
Scott
